Your Site Representative is a CUPE member who has volunteered to be the contact person – or site rep – for their worksite’s staff. The site rep is there to support you and answer your general questions about our contract, benefits, vacation, or sick time. f you need to speak with the union office, your president or the chief shop steward, a shop steward or an executive member, they can help you with that, too. Keep in mind that site reps are not shop stewards and cannot represent you at any meetings with your administrators or managers.
CUPE LOCAL 1091 has several items that are considered surplus at our new union office. As per the local’s trustee recommendation, these items are being sold through a sealed bid auction. Highest bid takes the item(s). There is no minimum bid amount.

CUPE 1091 members opted to participate in the Provincial Standardized Extended Health Care Plan, and there will be an opportunity for those individuals who have previously waived their extended health care plan to enroll in this plan.
